Kendra Bullard recently received her Masters degree on May 4th from the University of Illinois-Chicago! Her degree is in Kinesiology with a concentration in Performance, Sports and Exercise Psychology (PSEP).  She is part of the inaugural class to graduate from the PSEP program. Kendra graduated from Random Lake High School in 2018 and did her undergraduate studies at the University of St. Francis, Joliet, IL. She majored in Psychology and minored in Criminal Justice.

Kendra attended the university on a volleyball scholarship and was a rostered player all 4 years at USF; however, she was out with a shoulder injury/surgery most of her junior year. Kendra was able to return to play at the end of that season, but then suffered a back injury at the beginning of her senior year that resulted in a medically forced exit from actively playing.  Kendra continued on as an integral part of the team that year in a supportive role. The medically forced exit helped shape her senior research project, and through a series of related events, led to her choosing to enroll in the PSEP Masters program at UIC.

Kendra is currently planning to become a  Certified Mental Performance Consultant® (CMPC), which will allow her to work with both sport and non-sport populations at the elite and professional level. She also has an interest in teaching at the higher education level and eventually becoming a program director within the sport psychology field! Congratulations, Kendra! #RamPride #rlalumnination
