Random Lake High School is excited to welcome Justin Mudlaff as the new Head Wrestling Coach.
Coach Mudlaff states, "As a Random Lake alumni (class of 2011) I’m excited to give back to the wrestling community that gave so much to me in the past. With help from the assistant coaches, parents and the surrounding community my goals this season are to help these wrestlers achieve their goals on and off the mat. Build their mental toughness as well as instill the drive needed to not only succeed on the mat but also in life. All while simultaneously building the program in the direction needed to bring home that state title we’ve been longing for."
Coach Mudlaff started his wrestling career in 1st grade through the Random Lake youth wrestling program. He won multiple state titles as a youth in Folkstyle, Freestyle and Greco. He consistently made the national teams and competed internationally in Bulgaria. Coach Mudlaff won 2 state titles here at Random Lake with a Team State Runner-Up in 2009. He ended his high school career as a 4 time state finalist with 3 state titles (2 at Random Lake, 1 at Luxemburg-Casco) with a record of 180-10. In college, he coached at Holmen High School as an assistant under Jason Lulloff. He eventually won the college division state tournament for Freestyle and Greco as a bet he had with the kids he was coaching that year. After college he helped coach at Luxemburg-Casco for Chas Treml before returning back to Random Lake.
Congratulations Coach Mudlaff! GO RAMS!!
